Make sure you clean your wooden decks regularly. Sweep all debris from it and hose it down. Make sure that any cleaning solution you use doesn’t spill over into the potted plants that you may have around. Be especially careful with solutions that include bleach. Once the deck has been cleaned, just rinse off the solution using a low pressure hose. A high pressure hose may harm soft parts of the wood resulting in a change to its grainy surface.

Hi there, We have an elevated deck which is in need of new boards, and possibly a few beams. We are concerned about the structural integrity of it as well. We also have a front patio (cement) which we would like to have redone. Although summer is over, perhaps you would have time for such a job before the winter kicks in... Thanks in advance |
